Privacy policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
Inkly is made by Inkly Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].
Who is the data controller?
Inkly Ltd. Contact: [email protected].
This website
This website collects no personal data. There are no signup forms, no analytics, no advertising, and no cookies set by us. The page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads; Google's Fonts privacy notes describe what they receive.
The Inkly app
Inkly works without an account — you can download it and solve puzzles with nothing collected. If you choose to sign in (with Google), we collect and store:
- Your name and email address, as provided by Google Sign-In.
- Your puzzle progress and statistics (puzzles completed, times, streaks), so they sync across your devices and appear on leaderboards.
This data is stored on our servers, hosted by Railway. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or share your data with third parties beyond the hosting infrastructure needed to run the service.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as you have an account. Delete your account (or email us) and your data is removed from our systems.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
